If you are looking to launch some special events this holiday season, setting up a dynamic events calendar may be the answer. Here is a an easy way to setup Google's Calendar on your own web site in 8 easy steps.
Make sure you have a free Google account. Sign up here if you don't.
Log into your account and click on the 'Calendar' link located on top of the page. Proceed to the next page.
On the left hand side you will see a 'My Calendars' section which represents all of your calendars. Hover over the gray arrow that is to the right of that text and left click it.
You will then see a pop-up box that will allow you to 'Create new calendar.' Click and proceed to the next page.
Fill in the details to create your new calendar, then finally click the 'Create Calendar' button to complete the process and return to the main calendar page.
You will then return to your main calendar page. You should now see an additional calendar under the 'My Calendars' section. Hover your mouse over the gray arrow link to the right of your new calendar name and click it. The pop-up box will give you an option for 'Calendar Settings.' Click it and proceed to the next page.
Copy the iFrame code that is located on this settings page and past it anywhere on your personal web site.
You can now update your calendar from your Gmail account for events and such and dynamically see them populate on your personal web site.
